About our movie "Sacrifice"
Rebecca is an ambitious actress struggling to break into Hollywood while living a modest life in a trailer with her devoted boyfriend, Alex. Years of rejection, auditions, and near-misses have tested her confidence and their relationship. Just as Rebecca begins to question whether her dream is worth the sacrifice, she receives a life-changing offer to star in a major television series—an opportunity she has waited for her entire life.
At the same time, Rebecca discovers she is pregnant, forcing her to confront an impossible choice between the future she has fought so hard to achieve and the life growing inside her. As pressure mounts from the industry, her partner, and her own fears, Rebecca must decide what success truly means and what she is willing to sacrifice to define herself on her own terms.

Why our message are so important
Abortion in the U.S. is a deeply divisive issue, shaped by legal, ethical, and social debates. After the 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson decision overturned Roe v. Wade, states gained control over abortion laws, leading to significant disparities in access. Restrictions often disproportionately impact low-income and marginalized groups, while political and moral disagreements keep the issue highly polarized.
We believe that our film has the potential to impact several groups of people:

  • Men. The male audience will gain a deeper understanding of how difficult it is for a woman to make the painful decision to have an abortion. The film highlights ways to support and help women through this challenging time, offering them encouragement and, whenever possible, an alternative to abortion.
  • Women. In an era of feminism, advanced technology, and gender equality, women face immense pressure from society, work, and their partners. They bear a double burden—both as the keepers of the home and as individuals with dreams, passions, and goals worth fighting for. The key question our film poses to viewers and society is: Is it worth it? What is the true cost of victory? It explores the emotional and psychological weight of a woman’s choice and the struggles she faces in making it.

We embarked on this journey without any expectation that we would actually begin filming this movie. We simply believed and moved forward step by step, bringing together talented and passionate professionals who were willing to work without pay, hoping that our company would secure funding and compensate them for their efforts.

Filming process of "Sacrifice"
It was a leap of faith. We didn't have enough funding to start filming, but the feeling that our film could affect many lives, maybe save lives, allowed us to finish the main filming process. The members of the film crew trusted our word and worked for free in the hope that we would pay them after the end of the fundraising.

Our Budget in details
We would be thrilled to share with you a detailed breakdown of how much has already been invested in Sacrifice, how much more is needed to complete the film, and exactly how every dollar will be used. So far, we have successfully completed the development and production stages using our own personal funds. Now, we are entering the crucial phase of filmmaking—post-production.
To finish Sacrifice, we need to raise $20,000. These funds will cover post-production work, including editing, color grading, music composition, sound design and mixing, visual effects, and more. In addition, they will support film festival submissions, creation of DCP copies, and the organization of our premiere, which requires renting a cinema hall for this special event.
